Functionality

PSPlus-PM extends the functionality of PSPlus VM (link) and offers asset managers the opportunity to edit client portfolios centrally.

The operative administration is realized through matching client portfolios with virtual portfolios. Any number of virtual portfolios can be created.

The benefits of an integration of PSplus-PM stem from moderate maintenance costs, comprehensive reporting and utilization of a consistent database.

All VM-functionalities such as display of master and transaction data as well as valuations/appraisals, performance measurements and risk analyses remain available. The multiple opportunities towards “slicing” and “structuring“ their view on client portfolios enable the portfolio manager to gain an immediate overview of vital information and/or deviations.

Any tax-related data can be captured and retrieved via risk profiles and securities lists. To account for potential deviations between client portfolios and virtual portfolios, the software will automatically detect such discrepancies in the matching process and a list of proposed orders will be created.

Naturally, the system supports features like liquidity settlements, rounding logics and individual client restrictions.

This way, PSplus-PM provides prompt response times and a correspondingly high pace of implementation with feasible administrative costs.

PSplus-PM functionalities in short:

  • Full integration into the PSplus-VM environment
  • Flexible simulation of risk circumstances by taking individual client restrictions into account
  • Minimization of order costs trough centrally accounted virtual portfolios valued on a daily basis
  • Relief of consultants due to a functional process division (central administration versus consulting)
  • Automated post-processing to create order propositions
  • Highly flexible order list with filter and sorting features
  • Multiple opportunities for optimization via flexible rounding guidelines, tolerance values, liquidity checks and taking account of the “speculative period”
  • Taking account of dispositive orders
  • Excel order interface
